Sometimes when you race in rain boots on the way to the car, you face plant into the driveway :(
She had a good cry (and so did mommy and Aunt Brooke). We treated her injuries with a little foaming neosporin, a few dozen band-aids and 3 Popsicles-to help with the swelling and her feelings.
It breaks our heart to look at her little scratched face and swollen lip. She's proud of her boo boos today and shows off her busted lip with pride.
When she got dressed today she said "I'm going to wear my crocs today, mommy...let's give the boots a break."

Bless her heart and yours! Accidents are the worst, especially around the face or mouth. That always scares me to death. She is so sweet and I hope that little boo boo heals up asap!
